Versatile Conference Facilities at Cober Hill
Cober Hill has a wealth of expertise in the provision of facilities and resources for conferences, both day and residential, training events, meetings and seminars. We have years of experience in supporting a wide variety of groups, and assisting when it comes to the planning and execution of a successful conference.
There are a large selection of dedicated and versatile ground floor facilities available – all with natural light and views of the stunning grounds or fabulous coast. All day and residential conferences are guaranteed their own private meeting room across the site.
Our two main meeting rooms provide an excellent venue for large groups with a choice of layout to suit your needs.
The Theatre Ideal for Meetings & Presentations
accommodates up to 100 delegates in theatre style seating
Joseph Rowntree Centre Hall Ideal for Events
up to 80 delegates. Both rooms have full audio systems.
The Conservatory Perfect for Smaller Gatherings & Breakout Sessions
an ideal base for refreshment breaks, introductions on arrival and being an exhibitor area.
Additional Meeting Rooms & Event Spaces
Our four smaller conference rooms can be used as formal meeting rooms or informal lounges. All can provide seating for between 15 to 30 delegates.

Our idyllic surroundings and 6 acres of grounds ensure maximum concentration and productivity, balanced with plenty of opportunity for enjoyment and relaxation. Our location is easily accessible within reach of Scarborough, Whitby, York, Leeds, Hull, and Middlesbrough.
We provide free, secure onsite parking for up to seventy cars, suitable also for minibuses and coaches.

Our kitchen team can provide a range of options for your event, from buffets to 3 course meals.
We can cater to all dietary requirements, including allergens and religious diets.
Each function room has a self-serve tea and coffee station which is stocked with teas, coffees, hot chocolate and squash as well as a selection of milks.
Function Rooms For Parties
Our function rooms are available to hire by the day or half day, ideal for birthday parties or any get togethers or celebrations.
Theatre Function Room
The theatre is ideal for children’s parties as it has a stage and sound system built in.
JRC Function Room
Our biggest function room with plenty of parking and direct access to the tennis court.
Conservatory Function Room
Located in the main house, this function room is directly opposite the kitchen and dining room with direct access to the patio
