Cober Hill has a wealth of expertise in the provision of facilities and resources for conferences, both day and residential, training events, meetings and seminars. We have years of experience in supporting a wide variety of groups, and assisting when it comes to the planning and execution of a successful conference.

There are a large selection of dedicated and versatile ground floor facilities available – all with natural light and views of the stunning grounds or fabulous coast. All day and residential conferences are guaranteed their own private meeting room across the site.

Our two main meeting rooms provide an excellent venue for large groups with a choice of layout to suit your needs. The Theatre accommodates up to 100 delegates in theatre style seating and the Joseph Rowntree Centre Hall up to 80 delegates. Both rooms have full audio systems.

The Conservatory is an ideal base for refreshment breaks, introductions on arrival and being an exhibitor area.

Our four smaller conference rooms can be used as formal meeting rooms or informal lounges. All can provide seating for between 15 to 30 delegates.

Our idyllic surroundings and 6 acres of grounds ensure maximum concentration and productivity, balanced with plenty of opportunity for enjoyment and relaxation. Our location is easily accessible within reach of Scarborough, Whitby, York, Leeds, Hull, and Middlesbrough.

We provide free, secure onsite parking for up to seventy cars, suitable also for minibuses and coaches.
